Here you have the information that the STAR have taken into account for explaining this fourth task.

Hello, I’m María and I am the star of the group Busy Bees. Today, I am going to talk about the Text Books. What is a textbook? A text book is a manual that helps to  students and teachers. The problem is that textbooks have acquired a significant importance in schools and teachers depending on the majority of cases of them so the teachers limit their knowledge.
So through this poster we are going to show you the dark side of the textbooks.
In this poster we can see a school, which is the building that promotes the necessity to buy textbooks. We can differentiate the following sections:

1. EDUCATIONAL:
2. ECONOMICAL
3. IDEOLOGICAL
4. EPISTEMOLOGICAL

As we can see, in the middle of the building are the teachers who represent the main block, because they play one of the most important roles that is the transmition of the knowledge.
With The door we want to represent that teachers have to open their minds, I mean that teachers not only have to base in textbooks but they have to use other alternatives:

The ICT (NEW TECHNOLOGY)
Teachers notes
Oral teaching
Digital books

With new technologies teachers can develop a new kind of knowledge in order to teach the students. In addition, students will be motivated and interested with this new experience.

In the graphic we can see the amount of Money that families spend in the material for their children in September. It is incredible!!!
The 25% of the money goes to the text books, it is around 200 Euros per children. It is too expensive. The bad part of these kind of things is that the editorials change the edition of the books so parents have to buy every year books and they are not reusable so it supposed a higher expenditure of money to the families. Also the price of the textbooks is higher than other kind of things that children need for going to school.
